5 Ways to Think Up a Great Domain Name That Could Still Available

I could be so rich if I earned a dollar each and every time someone whinged that all the significant domain names had already been claimed. Fortunately it is just not true. Even within such a highly competitive industry, surely you must be able to think up new and marketable business domain names by using specific naming tactics that so few people use. Some examples:

1. Concentrate on results. What is the desired outcome or end result which people want to experience when buying a certain product or service? How good do they feel once they have completed their transaction? Individual company names such as – Named At Last – comes into this business niche. Does your online business name reflect your given niche? Will potential customers be able to find you through your pertinent but rich Domain name?

2. Target puns. List the relevant keywords, speak each pun or word out loud and then fool around with the sounds. 4. Go symbolic. Maybe you’re an expert on a particular genre (e.g.horror) and want to start a paid membership online community for your potential members who just happen to share your interests. For example “Horror-ific”, “Horror-gate” and “Horror-net” are all taken, but maybe the more obscure and vivid “Fright-Owl” is not.

5. Interchange basic but real words. “The name Google is a play on the word googol, which refers to the number 1 followed by one hundred zeroes,” says the Press Center of the worlds’ most successful search engine. “The word was coined by the nine-year-old nephew of mathematician Edward Kasner,”and while it remains – it also provides another source for creativity: talk to a child near you!
